		<description>I plan to attend the meeting this evening.  I have lived at 21st and Jarboe for 28 years, and am familiar with all the issues brought forth, except that I did not know that those beautiful trees were 100 year old!!  Thanks for all the history.
I am one of those drivers that occasionally ignores the one way on 21st street.  It seems absurd to me. One block?  That intersection simply must be redesigned.
And I agree with the need to re-configure  the intersection at 17th and Holly.  I have frequently seen drivers run right through the stop sign southbound from Beardsley to Holly.
One glaring omission, as I read through the meeting notes, was the huge plot of land occupied by the empty school district buildings.  I hope someone will address that, because until something is done there, I feel that all the other &quot;beautifications&quot; will be for naught.</description>
